Instead of replacing the player's view with a conventional fullscreen camera, DL Drone renders the live feed directly onto the tablet held by the operator. Nearby players can see the deployed drone, hear its synchronized positional audio and watch the pilot use the controller, keeping every flight grounded in the game world.

The experience goes far beyond simple free-flight controls. Distance-based blur, signal noise and complete signal loss make range matter, while physical impacts and an empty battery can bring the drone down. Lost drones remain in the world and can be recovered — even when the owner deploys another unit — creating real consequences without locking players out of future flights.

Battery servicing is handled through an interactive screwdriver and drag-and-drop replacement minigame. Persistent charge levels, server-authoritative inventory handling and validated deployment, pickup and service actions turn the drone into a complete gameplay system rather than a disposable camera mode.

With responsive support from 720p to 4K and ultrawide displays, automatic integration detection, five included languages and extensive escrow-free configuration, DL Drone is ready for police operations, criminal reconnaissance, event coverage, search missions and cinematic server content.
